Carpet time!!

So its come to the time where we are carpet shopping. I know after doing 2 lots of carpet previously that I dont want creams or browns, so dark greys/charcoals will be the way to go this time around. With a budget to stick to its quite hard finding something thats nice and soft underfoot, doesn't show foot prints/vacuum marks or too much fluff. So am looking for a nice flecky design... just like this... however this carpet layed is $1000 over budget. Sigh!  Let me know of some great carpet choices and or mistakes.

    No no, carpet is only for the bedrooms!! Those floors are all the living areas, :)
    Such an awesome deal you have with free shipping on the pouffes...i can only dream to have one, budget is so tight right now.

    Chocolate brown would make a cute and decent color for a carpet. Because of its dark shade, you won’t have a hard time cleaning and maintaining it. Stains and dusts are hardly noticeable.
